our story
Málna, the family's Irish Setter.
Four years ago, we hoped to adopt a little puppy who had been left to wither behind bars, barely able to whimper. We were ready to rescue her instantly, but the foundation deemed us unfit to be her owners. We all cried, every single one of us. That’s when we started to delve deeper into dog breeds, and naturally, our hearts all pointed to the Irish Setter.
I reached out to breeders at the time, asking lots of questions. Among all the responses, there was one that stood out: we were both astonished and laughing at her letter. Without a doubt, she’s a mad Irish Setter herself, and this is where we want our dog from… And so, Málna, Alma Almira from Happy Greenfields, arrived.
Even as a puppy, she was the calmest one, the perfect choice for a first dog, alongside kids and cats (and sometimes rats, hamsters, turtles, geckos, and noble ants). Gradually, we began to realise just how prestigious her bloodline is and what a refined, wise soul she has. We wanted to take her further.—
On January 22. / 23. 2025 , she gave birth to eleven four-legged little humans because they don’t know they’re dogs.
That’s certain. They don’t know they’re dogs.
We thank Judit Nuridsány breeder for considering us worthy to be Málna and her little raspberry pups' owners. We thank Boglárka Tamás breeder for thinking Málna worthy of pairing with your beloved and well-respected Lyonel son. I will never forget that day!
